A Car Accident entry.. AGAIN, but this time its NOT me!

Just got back from a week long vacation~ mannnn!! 12 hours with your butt glued to the car seat is oh soooo very tiring!!!! We (3 different families berconvoy) were travelling to kuching, a total distance of 500-700km kali! and the road.. oh the road, its hell bumpy cause a million of trucks must have used that highway!! Sheeshhh! We took off frm the immigration di miri at 8am, got to Kuching at 8-9pm!!!! Boring man the journey, as you can see from your left: a hutan, and to your right another hutan, only its quite different from the other hutan! Gosh! Bottom line: Vacay Siuuukkk, the long hours journey not so...

OH YEA! The topic!!!! I think I am somewhat cursed, to have that small bump months ago, a crash that caused my bumper to fall off last week and now this!!! I would like to clarify first that I did not crash any cars, only this time I witness cars colliding right in front of my eyes...

It was a rainy afternoon, we were going back to Brunei after a 3 nights stay at Kuching, we were still halfway to Miri and all are determined to make it to our checkpoint Sibu on time~ I think it was around 3:30pm (23rd July 2009) when this happened:

That's my eldest uncle's car, upon going down from a hill, he suddenly lose control of his car, brakes wont work, the road was slippery and he went straight into the longkang. My uncle and his wife was in the car along with their 3 daughters aged from 14-8 yrs old. Now, my family didnt see this happen, we were like 5mins behind. Our car is on the left, the black one, in this picture everyone was already out of their car, unhurt. We were lucky enough that a truck (towing truck?) was nearby, he was the one to call for us a bigger towing truck. So we waited for that truck to come.

We were stil at the side of the road, almost everyone was outside when suddenly a white kijang released this screeching sound, he was also going from the direction we were all going, we can see that this kijang nearly nearly lose control, we could see it move slightly sideways towards us!!! But thankfully and thank goodness he was able to steady his steering wheel and was able to pass us. I think to me, that was the closest, by far the closest thing, if he hadnt controlled his car, i was very sure he could crash us at that moment (there were at least a dozen ppl in a group kali ahh! If he would happen to crash us, he would crush us all!).

And if you think that was the last of it, you're wrong.

10 mins later this happened:

Mind you, thats a hell big of a lorry!!

I was staring towards the top edge of the hill, because after the kijang incident i was wary that for every car that passes by, one of em could hit us. We were still at that side of the road, yes.. i think it was 5mins later when i saw this big lorry going over the hill. As if my worst fears had come true, I witnessed something that feels so unreal. This lorry was going downwards, he was in a lane near us, suddenly not a few metres away from the top of the hill, he went straight into the other lane, and you can see in front of your eyes, the back part of the lorry going sideways (perpendicular to the road) and sliding downwards towards the other edge of the hill. I was still stuck to the ground, scream thats not mine flooded my ears, someone was grabbing hold of my arm and when i was about to move my legs and turn my view, i saw a small black car on another lane going upwards towards the front part of the lorry until they touched together. That was the last view in my head, the moment when the they touched together. From that point on, we all were rushing towards our car still parked on the other side, our backs towards the accident, i couldnt see what happened next. My father was at that time at the same part of the hill as my uncle's car! He somehow manages to cross the road and dash to the car, starting the engine and parked the car further down the hill to a safe place along with my other uncle (with his green kijang car).

After my father parked the car, he instantly walked uphill again!! I really really do want to go and see, and help if i could, but i know my mother wont allow me to go. So we stayed at the very bottom, safe from any other mishaps. Thats when my mother said something about children. I didn't see the people inside the black car, but my mother told us that she saw a mother with a baby in her arms, and a child in the back seat kind of looking towards the lorry, eyes curious of what's happening. That picture image must have been hard for my mother.

thats the small child, 8 yrs old kali, there were 3 children altogether (the girl there, a boy, and a 5months old baby), the mother lagi and the father are still trapped inside the car.

and that's the father hauled over only after an hour plus of time.. i think it was around 5pm sudah at this time..

I was at this time at the top of the hill when the firemen were trying hard to pull this man out. He was the very last one stucked inside the wreckage. I saw with my own eyes from a group of ppl already cramming the space up above, i saw a hand moving very weakly, only a hand, i couldnt see anything else. They manage to pull this man out and moved him into an ambulance nearby, i was so near to the ambulance, that i could see his eyes closed, his face was messy, arms bruised with so many cuts but his whole body covered with blankets, so i couldn't see how serious his injuries are.. This very man unfortunately passed away at the hospital at 8pm, together with his 5month old baby who died earlier..

Takziah to the family, and i wish speedy recovery to the mother and their children.. they're still in the hospital (the newpaper tells).

Before moving onto the topic, I feel like this is the appropriate time (lol) to say thank you to my helpers mainly Josh and Mau for those super speedy fast quick reply on tips n advices pasal the interview!! N yess, i got dana sship! (hahaha outdated info). Anyways Thanks to Josh for being the first person who replied to my plee of help, laju lagi tu, i am super amazed! N mau to comment on later and for being such a good therapist over the past few weeks! Grateful for that yes! and all the othes who provided me with pools of information! I thank you where ever u are~

Now, the topic... yeessh. I made a boo boo yesterday night. A big boo boo that caused the back bumper of my car to literally fell off O_O. Is it me? Or am i just that cursed? lol Its me!!! It was night, it was dark and I was going out of a simpang, Once i looked at my right, my left then i didnt look at my right again. When I already pushed at the gas pedal, i finally looked at my right, to my shock, there was a car, filing my seat with stream of light, I quickly pushed the gas pedal deeper managing to avoid a more serious crash, and he manages to steer away colliding only the right back bumper of my car, that instant the bumper fell off. ~a phew to the images in ur brain huh?~

*slaps myself for carelesslessness*

Its strange that i dont feel scared like seriously shaking my hands scared. What does that mean? n lol i was alone that night kali ahh, was about to fetch my adik frm tuition. Hayo, I need somebody to punch me hard! hahahaha after this, how many of you still wants to go into my car??? *raise eyebrow*

OMG lol, IQ tests, I've dreaded one of these when i was a kid, purely because of not wanting to know the truth part. I have to exercise my brain a bit since well.. youtube have done quite a damage, and a loooonnnnnggg 6months of pocrastination might also taken part to salvage my brain as well.

Yes, it's from YouTube again, didn't i tell you guys i was slightly addicted... meh.. Anyways, while lurking in YouTube, i've stumble upon this great videos, actually parodies of the anime D.GRAY-MAN series!!! Made by TehExorcist, I'll introduce to you, these 5 little Abridged Series which i find brilliantly scripted (lol) and humurous enough to watch~ Short's short: it's funny with voice do-overs done by him and his little cast of co-stars!! (parody: make a spoof of or make fun of) lol.. i've just discovered the word bah! hahaha

I am currently addicted to youtube and D.Gray-man in youtube. lol. 90-ish episodes turns me off. I haven't watch all the episodes, urrr... let alone the anime.. I'm remembering plot lines from the times i've read the manga 3-4 years ago?? Just here to show a fanvid of the D.Gray-man, the song? "I kissed a Boy" yes like Katy Perry, but who the hell sings it, i'll never know..

Everyone jumped up out of joy, shouting, some gasping for air, I was shouting, my throat already soar followed by some high emotions in the room. lol. As soon as that Bruneian player managed to score a shot in the final penalty kick off, hahaha Brunei MENANG! Brunei DPMM FC (Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Football Club) was against Singapore SAFFC (Singapore Armed Forces Football Club) this night at their home town, 1-1, after all the extra time, we went off to a penalty kick off. Brunei managed to defend 2 penalty kicks from SAFFC thus glory to brunei!!!!! hahaha. lol i admit this is my first time following a live soccer match. hahaha. The room was electrical, the family members were all there, which adds more to the fun :) some swearings, praying and a pessimistic aunt in the corner who constantly shouts goal to the other team! hahaha fun. We were all at my next door cousins house after makan makan malam, and we all went huddled together around this 13inches tv, lol. It was a fun night.

DPMM FC, better known as the 'wasps' had made a history by being the first foreign club to win a Singaporean Football Competition since the S-League's inception in 1996. To add, DPMM FC is also in its first year of joining the league. :))))) I've never been so happy for Brunei. hahahaha

Good news! Our house has a wireless connection!! I'm half happy and half dissapointed to have my family to resort to this solution after wireless connection to our next door cousin's house been cutted off.. Damn cuzzies!! Niways my parents ended up paying $50 for registration, paying $65 per month for the e-speed, n an additional $75 for a wireless router when we found out that wasn't in the package. It kills me to burden my family, lol. But i guess i'm not exactly the angel in the family cause i invented the 'ironing for $10' chore. lol. But in my self-defense, every week the load is just soo much: 3 large basket full of laundry. And besides they're investing the money into my future.. hahaha

Anyways I will be available 24/7 online..

On another note, I've just spend 3hours talking/discussing with Fuzzy about current affairs and such, from the fall of Gordon Brown to H1N1 to Air France to John Lennon to Steve Irwin to Stem Cell and finally to Sims 2.. man that was an engaging conversation lol. I miss Ozone online, cause if she's on, sometimes i start in topics concerning serial killers, crimes and human interests and such. hahaha. Usually most of the conversations ends towards how that guy and that guy looks cute together as a couple and how i wish they would become just that. hahaha.

Oh!!! On a different note, yesterday I saw a guy (an indian) who had been dragged outside his shabby kedai jahit shop with his wrists locked together with handcuffs. I do not know what the deal is. He seems calm n submissive, and was put inside the back of a van (not the police kind, kinda like a.. normal car that a family would drive around town..). I think it was just an overdue immigrant problem though my mind actually rose to the point where he became a suspected militant, LOL. Would be very cool if that actually happens.. Would be very very very cool :) though I higly doubt that's the case. But it's nice to dream right? haha

The Malay Interview

So okay, my malay interview went just fine, i'd expected a lot worse. It was quick 15mins interview. First were the introductions, my family, my course, what it is about. LOL I literally memorised the components of my course at wikipedia (thank you wikipedia). I guessed the person knows my mum, cause he like tarus-tarus mention my mother's name in a statement when i didn't told him her name :S. We start with all those mib stuffs, it's a shame that he didn't ask me about the menteri names.. cause i already afal all their names. Then as Josh mentioned, I was given an article from a newspaper and was asked to read it out aloud. It was about selesma babi, I followed that news! :) When I read the article, my throat and tongue was really dry, my voice kept making weird noises hahaha. But I don't think he mind. And Oh yeah! The question apa itu Melayu Islam Beraja was asked!!! Thank you Josh!!! I'll hug you even if it scares you! lol.

Special thanks to my friends On Wan Shi (not Ong, yes, not Ong), Lim Chien Hau.. (i think kamu dua saja yg tolong aku masa these 2 days lol). And also a thanks to si pikah, zakiah, fuzzy, ilyaa farhana binti haji lamit, ozone maybe haha, and... some more. Im happy it is all over! hahaha, im just waiting for an english interview lagi if they still have it. Cause wen yah told me that all other scholarship will only have one malay interview except for bas, but i'm not sure about Dana though. Oh well... hahaha after the interviews, I went straight to a dvd shop and rewarded myself with $20 worth of two seasons box series of The Office. The Office (US) is seriously funny, you guys! Hillarious!

Oh thanks to my mum n dad for their love and support. lol my father has a 100% knowledge of brunei. Very helpful!

Okay, i'll be speaking in malay afterwards to test my malay skills.

Apa khabar semua? Saya baru sahaja terima panggilan dari unit biasiswa. Orang yang menelefon saya itu memberitahu saya untuk hadir ke unit biasiswa tingkat 5 block C pada pukul 8:00 pagi pada hari selesa iaitu pada 2 jun. Malang sekali orang-orang yang di pilih untuk interviu (?) di susun ikut pencapaian mereka, jadi saya di simpan ke arah 'Group A'. Saya akan bertemu dengan rakan-rakan yang sungguh cemerlang pencapaian mereka. Saya sangat takut. Sangat sangat takut kerana mereka semua pandai belaka! Tetapi saya sungguh gembira kerana lagi awal selesai, lagi saya rasa lega kerana semua perkara telah pun diselesai kan.

Di sini saya berharap orang-orang yang sudah pernah melalui interviu didalam bahasa melayu agar boleh menolong saya pada saat yang susah ini. Di harap kawan-kawan saya di uk dan juga di australia (haha), saya harap kamu semua boleh menolong saya dan memberitahu saya tentang soalan-soalan yang sering di soalkan oleh orang interviu ini. Kerjasama kamu semua sangat-sangat di alukan.

ah lol, having no wireless connection at home is tough!! How can people live without internet?? lol. Without internet, my family is considering to buy a router... which for me is a waste of money. Paying $600 for a router then paying another $100-ish per month. I'd still prefer the 'leeching from someone else' method. What does that make me? Stingy? haha. Well, who cares!

Anyways, as always without internet, i'm indulging my time to playing sims2. Sigh.. And well, recently I volunteer for KACA along with wenyah, emily, nadia and syahida. Something to do before the interviews. The first time carpooling these people to KACA, I'd have to say my driving was a wee bit reckless. And oh yeah!!!! I just got my first minor accident with another car!! Woooo!! Just a minor! It happened at the beribi roundabout, I was behind another car. Supposedly I assumed that the car in front of me would just go, seeing that in my view, it was very clear!! I mean the cars to my right went straight into the roundabout! So why shouldn't the car in front of me wouldn't? hahaha. I guess it's my fault too for not looking in front and my fault too for assuming. So by the time tin-tin warned me about my car slowly approaching the bumper of the front car, it was too late. Well, honestly... there was time for me to hit the brakes but my reaction time was 3 seconds too late! LOL. So I hit the car. hahahaha. And I still remember the silence in the car and Wen Yah saying Oh My God. It was just a small bump to the car. No scratches or such, seeing that I hit the bumper in what? less than 10 km/h speed? A nurse came out of the car, went around to look at the bumper, smiles and gives me a thumbs up, and went back in her car again. SO NICE!!! I was really relieved it wasn't some middle aged grumpy old man! If it was, I don't know if I could tolerate a lecture and a call to my parents! Oh.. I didn't tell my parents, so shhhhhhhh.. hahaha

Another incident involving my reckless driving was the time I almost went into the longkang! Thinking back, I find it almost hillarious seeing that well, it wasn't so much as I was speeding and nearly drive into the longkang, but the actual fact that my car suddenly stops at the edge of a slightly steep longkang and gradually sinking my car to the longkang thanks to gravity. Now at that time, I was with my cousin, and I didn't know my car died on me. I already put my car into reverse gear and hit the gas but instead of reversing, it slowly sinks into the longkang inch by inch!! I was scared! Lol at stupid panicked self!! I even suruh my cousin to go out and push my car at the front but there was no room for him to even push. At that moment, a thought came to me: To pull the car by the back. LOL. I brushed it off seeing that was illogical. After inch by scrutiating inches slowly going into the longkang, a guy finally comes out of the house in front and lends me a hand. Sure enough, he restarts the engine and reverse my car into a safe postion! hahaha, i was thankful, relieved, a bit scared but not embarassed. I should be but no. lol. I actually enjoy the adrenaline rush of panic and fear! Hahaha. I was using my brother's hyundai sports car damn it!!! You could imagine the fear!! It was my first time using it, probably my last, not because of the whole incident but because I don't like the car's gear. It's very heavy and hard for me to control.

Hahaha so that was my week. How was yours?

I am soooooooo happy Adrian is updating his youtube channel with all new 10 vids!! All from his camcorder of course! All 10 vids featured his journey into the pacific ocean, just the day after they wrapped season 3 of heroes! I'll just show you some, i love seeing his face again, it really is good to know that he is well and alive! lol.

So okay, I've been missing for uber days now, well, that's because my next-door-cousin's brother who is also my cousin, well, he turned off the wireless connection!!! WHY???? I SAY WHY????? *sigh*... and virtual world is my other life, shutting it off means the death of me, well, not really so as to speak.. I still have my sims 2 game in this laptop, that is my other virtual life though <3, but Sims2 is very dangerous and very addictive since i tend to spend the whole day (literally) playing it. Once, 2 months has gone by just like that *snaps fingers*!

I am now at my brother's house, leeching off of his wireless network, so i'll be downloading like crazy later. No connection at home equals to me playing Sims2. What better way to pass the time than to share to you guys photos of my Simmies family!

Okay peeps, I've been gone for 2 days, and now I've come bearing music videos, not just any music videos, Midnight Juggernauts music videos! Their music is just awesome! Their style is Electronica. Hehehehe Everytime I see photos of him in the new movie Star Trek, I can't stop giggling.. hahaha.

I've been watching the reality tv series 'Ghost Hunters' for about 2 years through Starworld... What is it about? Well, for starters, the title says it all - Ghost Hunters.

Ghost Hunters is a reality television series featuring Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson who work a day job as plumbers and by night investigates houses that are reported to be haunted. They call themselves TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) investagors. Just to let you know, it's all real, no hoax or whatever (I hate skeptics claims that they are all just faking it *roll eyes*). They've caught amazing evidence from shadowy figures caught on tape to voices responding through EVPs (Electrical Voice Phenomenon).

For more info of them, you can always google them up if you're that interested, but for now I'm just gonna share with you my latest addiction or obssession. And that is Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango!!! YAYYY! hahaha. They're in the TAPS team too, i love them because they have a cute relationship (not much cuter than Adrian Milo, but cute nonetheless..what's up with me and GEIs hahaha?? I can't help it, GEIs are an addiction to me. GEIs for me are like mamo to Josh ;p).

Yup, yup, i've just watch the final episode of Heroes.

And someone died:

Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman) tweet this picture in his twitter..

I'm just gonna tell you straight away, Nathan died.. I'd expected that, so no surprise there :'( But there's a twist!! We'll be seeing mr Adrian Pasdar :)))))) in the next season of Heroes !!!!!! YAYYY!!!! How is that possible, you say? Nathan Petrelli really died, no question about that, but the twist is Sylar will be Nathan in the next season of heroes.

Sylar has a shape shifting ability and in the last part Matt Parkman puts all of Nathan memories into a sedated Sylar, and well now, Sylar certainly looks the Nathan part and he will be carrying Nathan memories with him in the next season. So pretty much, Sylar will be Nathan in volume 5: Redemption. huh.. but the fact is, Nathan is dead, and i'm very very sad about that, for sure the next season will be the part when we're gonna get the Jekyll and Hyde scenario (i'll be looking forward to Adrian's acting there, would be very cool for him to act the Sylar part).

I can't say that I am sad, not in absolute joy either. The good part is Adrian Pasdar is still there, I'm happy enough to oversee the 'Nathan is dead' fact. The bad part: Sylar will eventually be Sylar and Nathan is once again gone, for real or Nathan memories got the best of him, and prevailed as Nathan once more. If I had to choose, Sylar MUST die!!!! Nathan MUST live!!!!! (although in a Sylar's body) It's pretty much twisted from that point on..

But flowers and candles to my real Nathan..

Now for some bad talking:

Last fight between Nathan, Peter and Sylar was blehh cause they did the fight behind close doors! >:(
And fucking Ali Larter is back as Tracy Strauss!!! FOR GOD SAKES JUST KILL HER ALREADY!!! I just hate seeing her face from season 1!!! SShhhheeeeesshhhhh!
